Fox Valley Families Against Planned Parenthood
Fox Valley Families Against Planned Parenthood is a grassroots coalition of citizens who oppose the Planned Parenthood facility planning to open soon at
3051 E. New York St. in Aurora, IL

We believe that Planned Parenthood is bad for our community, with a long track record of undermining parents, leading young people into unhealthy sexual behavior, and above all taking the lives of unborn babies through abortion.   Join your voice to those speaking out against this most unwelcome neighbor.  You are invited to take place in a 40-Day Prayer Vigil during the days and weeks leading up to Planned Parenthood's scheduled opening.  To pledge any day with an hour of prayer for the sanctity of life go to http://familiesagainstplannedparenthood.org/ Also prayers and sacrifices all through the 40 days to stop the abortion facility from being opened and for all of those who are praying at the sight are needed.  See message from Bishop Sartain.

LOW GLUTEN HOSTS - We now have consecrated hosts available for those who have allergies to gluten.  They do however contain 0.01% of gluten.  If you are highly sensitive, you may need to first check with your doctor.  Those who wish to receive communion with these hosts should see a priest or deacon after Mass.  They are kept separate from all the other hosts for safety purposes.  The deacon or priest will assist you in receiving Holy Communion with these special wafers.

On May 16, 2006, the Apostolic Nuncio announced the appointment of Bishop J. Peter Sartain (pronounced Sar’-tin) as the Fourth Bishop of Joliet. Bishop Sartain was installed in Joliet on June 27 at the Cathedral of St. Raymond.  For more information, visit the Diocese of Joliet website.

New Nursery Paging System - No more wondering, "How will I know if my child in the nursery needs me?" No more having to leave mass to run downstairs and peek to make sure everything’s alright. The nursery now has a paging system! Each parent will be issued a silent, vibrating pager when they drop their child off in the nursery so that they can be contacted during mass should their child need them for any reason. Thank you to Kay Stark and Wendy Ryno for their efforts on this project.

SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS - As we pray for peace, please keep our troops in your prayers. In support of our troops, a list of those serving in the armed forces has been placed on the Altar in the Worship Center. Additionally, yellow ribbons have been added to a few of the trees outside as well as to the pole of the American Flag in the Narthex.

COURTESY CALL - As a courtesy to all our parishioners, please remember to set your phones and pagers so they are not audible during Mass. In doing this, everyone in church can participate in the celebration of the Mass without this distraction. If you do have to take a call, please go out into the Narthex. Thank you for your courtesy.

PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION -The chapel is open now in the Parish Center!   Stop by anytime for a visit.  There is a special code to enter after dark for security reasons.    To sign up for your hour or for more information, please call Alice at 416-3119 or Barb at 369-0853. Click for more information on adoration or email chapel@sesnaperville.org.
