Knights of Columbus Council 10025

  Knights of Columbus is a national, Catholic, family fraternal service organization. Knights of Columbus are Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, and defense of the priesthood.  Membership is open to all Catholic men, age 18 years or older. We invite all interested men of the parish to join us.  The Knights of Columbus is growing in Naperville, and we welcome new members, transfers and returning members.

MEMBERSHIP UPDATE: As of March 1, we have 152 Knights in St. Elizabeth Seton Council 10025. So far this year, we have gained 11 new Knights, or 157% of our quota! Keep up the good work!
NEW SIR KNIGHT: On February 16th Brother Bill Rickert earned the rank of Fourth Degree Knight. Congratulations, Bill!
READMISSION: The following men have been readmitted to the Knights and have joined St Elizabeth Seton Council 10025: Robert Williams, Carl Huddleston, John Davis and Don Lesher. Welcome Back!
PANCAKE BREAKFAST: The pancake breakfast on Sunday, March 9, was very successful. Donations totaled over $1,700.00 with proceeds, as always, going to the Knights of Columbus charities. From the Chairman of the Pancake Breakfast committee, Brother Jack Meister “I would like to extend my sincere thanks for all the great help on the pancake breakfast before, during and after!!” Thank you, thank you to the SES community for your generous support to this Knights’ fundraising effort. To all the Brother Knights who spent their Sunday in community service, your efforts are much appreciated!
BLOOD DRIVE: The blood drive on Saturday, March 8, was very successful! We collected 49 pints of life saving blood and served a full breakfast to all donors. To all the Brother Knights who spent their Saturday in community service, your efforts are much appreciated! To the SES community, and especially the donors, thanks very much for your generous, life giving donation!

WELCOME OUR NEWEST KNIGHTS: St Elizabeth Seton Council 10025 has nine new Brother Knights! On January 21, these men began their journey to Knighthood: Art Anderson, Richard Ganslein, Greg McClain, Mark Pestrak, George Sedivy, Robert Swain, Mike Kuhn, Greg Vos and Mark Young. Pictured with our new Knights are Grand Knight Vince Nirtaut and our Council Chaplain, Deacon Tom Ross.

KNIGHT OF THE MONTH AWARDS: St. Elizabeth Seton Council 10025 Knight of the Month awards were presented by Grand Knight Vince Nirtaut to the following Knights at the January 21st meeting:

August 2007 Knight of the Month: Andy Cirmo for his ordination into the Deaconate.
September Knight of the Month: Jeff Sweeney for his efforts directing the fundraising drive for "People with Intellectual Disabilities", where over $6,500 was raised for the less fortunate.
October Knight of the Month: Mike Cooper for directing the "Keep Christ in Christmas" program and his efforts leading the Membership Drive.
November Knight of the Month: Dan Jungclas for directing the Art and Environment efforts in the Worship Space and throughout the facility.
December Knight of the Month: Tom Stern for leading the quarterly blood drive program that collected over 150 pints in 2007.
January 2008 Knight of the Month: Jake Wych for leading the Dream Builders Program with over $5,500 in "free money" raised for our parish since December 2006.
