Knights of Columbus Council 10025

  Knights of Columbus is a national, Catholic, family fraternal service organization. Knights of Columbus are Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, and defense of the priesthood.  Membership is open to all Catholic men, age 18 years or older. We invite all interested men of the parish to join us.  The Knights of Columbus is growing in Naperville, and we welcome new members, transfers and returning members.

MEMBERSHIP UPDATE: As of November 1, we have 155 Knights in St. Elizabeth Seton Council 10025. So far this year, we have gained 3 new Knights, or 38% of our quota! To begin your journey to Knighthood, send us an email and we will gladly answer your questions.!

WELCOME OUR NEWEST KNIGHTS: St Elizabeth Seton Council 10025 has three new Brother Knights! The Major Degree on October 5, 2008, at Benedictine University was an enormous success! There were 25 men from seven councils earning the First Degree of our order. A total of 40 Brothers earned their Second and Third Degrees. Wow. Billy Buchholz, Bob Pavelchik and Abel Bermudez began their journey to Knighthood and joined the St, Elizabeth Seton Council.

KNIGHT OF THE MONTH AWARDS: St. Elizabeth Seton Council 10025 Knight of the Month awards were presented by Grand Knight Vince Nirtaut to the following Knights at the October 20th meeting:

February 2008: Lt. Col. John Amberg II on his retirement from the US Army; for his long and distinguished military service to our country.

March: Jack Meister for his leadership as chairman of the pancake breakfast; our most successful breakfast ever.

April: Steve Orzech for chairing and leading the Memorial Day parade for the Naperville tri-council sector.

May: Tom Galenziewski for long and dedicated service to our council as treasurer and blood drive food/kitchen coordinator. Tom and Paula, his lovely wife, are moving to Arizona.

June: Rey Russo and Doug Deutsch for successfully leading our first ever golf outing and fundraiser.

July: Vince Nirtaut for leadership in attaining the elusive Star Council Award as our Grand Knight.

August: Deacon Andy Cirmo for outstanding effort in coordinating the hugely successful “Praise in the Park” event.

September: Jeff  Sweeney in the directing of our council’s Tootsie Roll fundraiser, for our charities, to exceed our goal.

October: Don Lesher and Greg Vos for coordinating another successful blood drive where 42 pints were donated.

WOW: Congratulations and nice job guys!
