Elementary (Grades K-6)

Elementary Ministry provides for the religious formation of the parish children. Sacramental preparation is provided for First Holy Communion and Reconciliation (Confession).

Classes are facilitated by catechists and generally held in the Church building.   We offer two classes for each grade in the building for families with 3 or more children in the program, single parent household and special circumstances. Tuesdays 4:45 - 6:00 and Wednesdays 3:45-5:00.  Other classes are offered depending on catechists:  Mondays 3:00 - 4:15, 4:45 - 6:00 and Tuesdays 3:00 - 4:15.

Each grade level has a large group event held at the church throughout the year.

Religious Education Registration

It is diocesan policy that a person be in the Religious Education program for one full year before receiving sacraments.  A child needs to be in First Grade Religious Education to be on track to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist in Second Grade.
